What is SoLux?
Tailored Lighting Inc. is the maker of SoLux, a patented light source that provides an unparalleled replication of natural daylight. Learn More About SoLux SoLux is used by many of the world's top museums including the Musee d'Orsay, Van Gogh Museum, and Guggenheim Museum, top automotive paint companies, and the National Archives. SoLux's wide range of critical applications is testament to its unmatched color consistency and quality. SoLux has eight times the life and twice the efficiency of standard incandescent sources, does not contain the mercury found in fluorescent lights sources, and is a fraction of the cost of LED sources. The American Medical Association (AMA) has recently come out with guidelines discouraging use of LEDs containing blue spikes in their spectrum, "AMA encourage minimizing and controlling blue-rich environmental lighting by using the lowest emission of blue light possible...All LED lighting should be properly shielded to minimize glare and detrimental human and environmental effects." Introducing ColorView LED Artlight the only art light without blue spikes, CRI of 94, deep red color, and many more features!

Dr. Andreas Bluhm, Head of Exhibitions, Van Gogh Museum
The installation of SoLux was the single major improvement to this museum last year. You allowed us to see things we've never seen before. Recently, an art historian asked us to send him a restoration report on one of our paintings. The curator told him that the painting had not been restored lately. The art historian replied by saying: "But I see so many more details now." Well, that is the new SoLux lighting, the curator explained.Solux in Use
